Traditional Christmas cuisine at Bristol Grill
One of Oslo’s oldest and most prestigious restaurants, Bristol Grill serves traditional homemade Christmas cuisine from 11 November to 24 December 2024. The menu includes lutefisk, lamb ribs, Christmas pork ribs and a variety of traditional starters and desserts. During the holiday season, the restaurant is open from Monday to Saturday with the following sittings:
- First sitting: 5 pm – 7:30 pm
- Second sitting: 8:30 pm – 11 pm

Private room at Bristol Grill
Want to host a private Christmas dinner? Hold it in a private room at Bristol Grill. Choose between a comfortable private room that accommodates up to 16 persons or an intimate wine room that accommodates up to 10 persons. Both rooms feature dark details and are furnished with comfortable chairs and dimmed lighting. The wine room has a warm, intimate atmosphere, with the dining table surrounded by wine cabinets. Family Christmas lunch in the function rooms
On the Sundays of 8, 15 and 22 December 2024, we will be opening the doors to our stylish function rooms on the second floor for a large and traditional Christmas buffet with a mouthwatering dessert table. Santa Claus will also be stopping by with gifts for the children.
Time: 1 pm - 3 pm
Prices:
- Children (3-12 years): NOK 465 per person
- Adults: NOK 925 per person
Dinner in a private room
Experience a journey back in time in our elegant function rooms. We offer a culinary experience with a focus on Norwegian specialities, seasonal dishes and delicacies from our own patisserie.

Lunch at the Winter Garden and Library Bar
The popular Winter Garden and Library Bar is open
- Monday to Saturday from 11 am to 12 am (kitchen closes at 10 pm)
- Sunday from 12 pm to 9 pm (kitchen closes at 8 pm).
The daytime menu includes our renowned sandwiches, salads, and of course, Afternoon Tea. From 5:45 pm, there will be a separate evening menu consisting of various small dishes.

Lunch at Bristol Grill
From 21 November to 24 December 2024, Bristol Grill will be open for lunch on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, with a sitting from 12:30 pm to 3 pm. The lunch menu is the same as served in the Winter Garden and Library Bar.
